Bol som študentom Sorbonne Universtité na Faculté de Médecine. Stážoval som na pridruženom univerzitnom pracovisku APHP Pitié Salpêtrière, jedno z najväčších a najmodernejších zdravotníckych zariadení vo Francúzsku.

Snažil som sa komunikovať hlavne som vo francúzštine, koordinátori, niektorí doktori, sestry a ostatný nelekársky personál ovládali plynule angličtinu, takže 50/50 angličtina a francúzština.
