Internships are available in either Ireland or Malta.
For Dublin, ideal candidate would be those for whom the placement is a formal part of their academic programme (with a Learning Agreement in place), or who have Erasmus+ or similar funding to support their internship.

Compensation and benefits:
Dublin, Ireland:
- Salary: €800 per month
- Accommodation: 2 free weeks in a host family (self-catering); after the first two weeks, in case you’d like to continue staying with our host family, self-catering homestay accommodation can be offered at a discounted rate of €150 per week (regular cost: €260).
- Benefits: You are more than welcome to take part in our part-time evening language classes for free throughout your stay and you can also sit for a Cambridge B2 First or C1 Advanced exam at Atlas for free, if there are dates available and as long as it doesn't interfere with your working hours. You also receive a 50% discount on our paid social programme activities. 10 days of holiday for a 6 month internship.
- Full time internship (35-36 working hours per week), usually Monday to Friday from 8.30/9 am to 4:30/5 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break included.
Pembroke, Malta:
- Salary: €500 per month
- Accommodation: Free accommodation in one of our student apartments, shared twin rooms within walking distance of the school.
- Benefits: €300 travel stipend for flights and Atlas t-shirts/hoodies as uniforms. 10 days of holiday for a 6 month internship.
- Full time internship of 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Sunday (the intern will work 40 hours over 5 days and will get 2 days off during the week). The intern is expected to work on weekends. The schedule changes every week, and the manager informs the interns of their upcoming schedule every Thursday. The school opens Monday to Friday during the day, and social programme activities usually take place during the afternoons, evenings and during the weekends. Social programme activities are included in your working hours. Check-ins and check-outs at the residence occur on weekends.

Summer School: “Human Rights in Theory and Practice” on-site in Dresden // online for €50
This year’s theme, “Navigating Change – Contemporary Perspectives on Human Rights,” will explore how current global challenges affect the human rights system. In a rapidly changing world, developments such as the accelerating effects of climate change, emerging public health threats despite medical improvement or the unwarranted use of artificial intelligence pose unprecedented threats. These challenges could not have been foreseen when the International Bill of Human Rights was drafted, resulting in a conflict between evolving societal needs and the existing normative framework.
Participants can expect a diverse five-day program ranging from inspiring and interactive lectures by renowned speakers to modern formats such as coffee talks and interdisciplinary panel discussions. This will be complemented by a variety of evening activities and an interactive final format in which the newly acquired knowledge can be applied in a hands-on conference. There is also the opportunity to earn university credits (5 ECTS) by completing a final exam.

Summer Course: Expanding the Louvre: A History of Museum Growth in Paris
Thirty years after the “Grand Louvre” and the creation of Pei’s Pyramid, the “Nouvelle Renaissance” now carries this history forward, raising fundamental questions: does a museum remain vital by expanding, or does expansion ultimately challenge its very nature? Rereading the Louvre’s trajectory through a critical examination of museum growth offers a deeper understanding of how expansion has shaped, and continues to shape, its message.

Spanish Summer School at University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Every year, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) offers a Spanish Summer School, which is an intensive, three-week course that starts at the beginning of July. Summer School aims to provide foreign students with an introduction to the Spanish language and culture through a series of courses, seminars and cultural/sports activities. Students will enjoy classes alongside the Canary Islands’ warm summer, sunshine and beaches.
Course Information:
Students (Level A1.2) will learn Spanish in a 3-week Intensive Program (60 hours) through a series of courses, seminars, and fun interactive activities that will make you enjoy not only the experience of living in Spain, and particularly of Canary Islands, but also to discover the culture of other students participating in the course.
For the students who will choose the face-to-face system, we will offer fun interactive activities organized along the island Gran Canaria.

PsyHuman Summer School: "Multidisciplinary Approaches to Individual and Community Well-being" at University of Trento (Italy)
The 2025 PsyHuman International School fosters a model of well-being promotion that encompasses psychological, physical, and socio-cultural determinants of health, while challenging the dominant narratives of the ‘ideal’ mind- and body-type. It is based on the idea that the approaches of the humanities can complement clinical psychology and bio-medical sciences to promote individual and community well-being, as well as to question mainstream conceptualisations.
The two-week programme will be structured around in-presence seminars, workshops, and outdoor activities, from Monday to Friday.
- Seminars will be delivered by both faculty members and external guests, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach, and a variety of topics and methodologies. Participants will be encouraged to share their own knowledge and competencies in the classroom.
- Narrative Medicine Workshop: Activities based on the signature practices of Narrative Medicine (i.e., close reading, attentive listening, self-reflection, writing to a prompt, storytelling and sharing), aimed at strengthening narrative competence (“the capacity to skillfully receive the accounts persons give of themselves – to recognize, absorb, interpret and be moved to action by the stories of others”, Rita Charon, 2017: 1).
- Outdoor activities: the programme includes one all-day excursion (to be defined); a half-day guided tour of Rovereto; and a workshop at the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Rovereto (MART).

- The PsyHuman International School is open to up min. 10 and max. 25 senior Bachelor’s degree (from second year) and all Master’s degree students.

- The programme is particularly suited for students in psychological and social sciences, gender studies, and the humanities, but it is not limited to these fields.
