Dublin City University vlastní poměrně rozlehlý kampus, na kterém najdete všechno od obchodu přes knihovnu až po hospodu. Často se zde konají nejrůznější akce, takže je zde živo. Super je systém Pantry, kde si po přihlášení můžete odnést každý týden domů nějaké potraviny zdarma. Dále nabízí členství spolků v podstatě na všechny aktivity co si dokážete představit, ať už jde o volejbal nebo hraní deskovek. Lidé z místního studijního jsou velmi vstřícní a nemusíte se za nimi jít s žádnou "blbostí". Na začátku semestru si jich užijete, protože začátek semestru se nese ve znamení papírování a systém zapisování/měnění předmětů je hodně matoucí. Jinak je občas ve třídách zima, takže doporučuju nosit teplé oblečení.

Na stáži jsem byla pod hlavičkou PUMS - Poznan University of Medical Sciences. Jde o jednu z předních univerzit v Polsku a určitě poskytuje kvalitní vzdělání. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem zde byla na praktické stáži, univerzitní prostory jako takové jsem nenavštívila. Komunikace s koordinátorkou pro Erasmus byla velmi dobrá a kdykoliv jsem cokoliv potřebovala, informace jsem dostala obratem.

Praktickou stáž jsem vykonávala v univerzitní nemocnici KBC Split, kterou jsem si rozdělila do dvou měsíců, abych byla na dvou různých odděleních. Nemocnice je vyšším pracovištěm, kam se posílají případy z celé jižní Dalmácie, tudíž jsem měla možnost pozorovat i závažnější stavy, se kterými bych se asi v menší nemocnici nesetkala.

Heidelberg je město pro studenty. Univerzita se nachází na několika kampusech a také přímo v historickém centru města, nabízí velké množství skvěle vybavených knihoven, studoven, menz a míst k setkávání. Člověk se tak má příležitost seznámit nejen s městem, ale i s dalšími studenty, najít klidné místo, a zároveň moct spontánně potkávat známé tváře.
