What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Název své fakulty jsem si nezapamatoval za celý semestr, ale jinak vše bylo špičkové a jejich knihovna mi často chybí.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Studenti mají ve Švédsku obrovská práva daná zákonem, hlavně aby se zamezilo nespravedlnostem. Proto je hodnocení pečlivé a nestane se, že by si učitel na někoho zasedl (ani to není možné). Pokusů na zkoušku má člověk neomezeně, ale to jsem teda naštěstí nepotřeboval. A člověk má na jednou jen dva předměty, což pak ale trochu narazí v Česku kvůli kreditům.
What is student life like at university?
Aktivity byly, ale bohužel jen na začátku semestru, pak už člověk jel jen na vlastní triko, což bylo trochu komplikované.
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
Všude byla angličtina, v prvním semestru jsem měl jen 2 švédské spolužáky z 15 a to byl běžný stav. Ale švédsky jsem se za chvíli naučil dostatečně na objednání v kavárně či u pokladny v obchodě.

Studentské, nádherné, skvělá příroda, doporučuju si vyjet na ostrovy (trajekt je v rámci MHD) – já sám tam byl 6x.

Stipendium mi stačilo jen na kolej (ta ale byla luxusní), jinak ceny základních byly zhruba dvojnásobné...

V Göteborgu je běžné se hlásit o ubytování dva roky dopředu, Erasmáci jsou lehce zvýhodněni, ale já jsem měl štěstí až ve čtvrtém kole. Takže přeji hodně štěstí, jinak je tam normální muset bydlet po hostelích apod.
