What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Univerzita nabízí sice malé ale zrenovované prostory v budovách napříč celým centrem Limassolu. Určitě je studium zde příjemné. Na druhou stranu je nutné bydlet v co největší blízkosti školy. Dojíždění a MHD je tragická a nespolehlivá.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Administrativní přístup je chaotický a v mnoha ohledech velmi ležérní. Dodržování termínu nebo držení slova neexistuje. Přístup ke studentům je velmi vstřícný a v mnoha ohledech občas až přehnaně benevolentní. Dodržování časů výuky je pro učitele i studenty poslední starostí. Na konci semestru má student jen jeden pokus na zkoušku. Velmi často sbírá student body v průběhu semestru a závěrečná zkouška by tak nemusela být příliš stresová.
What is student life like at university?
Život mimo studium na univerzitě příliš neexistuje nebo je naprosto dezorganizovaný. Informace a jejich dostupnost je nedostatečná a pro Erasmus studenty se škola zrovna nepřetrhne.

Angličtina je naprosto dostačující

Město je rozlehlé a bez auta je člověk odkázaný na nefungující MHD. Na ulicích je špína, horko, prach, zaparkovaná auta že stojí kdekoliv to jen jde a cesta po městě může být občas dost o zdraví.

What type of accommodation did you choose? Would you recommend it to others? If not, what type of accommodation do you think is best based on your experience (dormitory, private apartment, private dormitory, shared room, etc.)?
Ubytování bylo v Apolonia Students Hall, které je uplně na kraji města. Daleko od univerzity. Je to plně nová budova připomínající hotel. Pokoje jsou plně vybaveny. Po stránce sociálna ale připomínají šedé rakve, ve kterých je každý naprosto izolován od ostatních. Pod okny vede dálnice a přímo naproti je kostel, ze kterého se každý víkend ráno ozývá modlitba a bijí zvony.
