about university
What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
The study experience was different as I was in a vast campus where all the student life was concentrated. You could stay there all day studying, having lessons, and eating something different every day. The teachers were more distant and I felt there was not as much of exchange and peer evaluation as there is in Charles. The exams also were more theoric and left less space for the student to concentrate in topics of their preference and as there were master level courses this option to me is more preferable.
What is student life like at university?
The campus I was on let you live the university and student life at its full. The only thing is that associations and events were mainly in French and I felt there was not much openness for English speakers. The events for the student community were great but the Erasmus students were somehow not integrated in the rest of the student community for my personal experience.
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
For university purposes the english language was enogh but I also tried as much as possible to speak french around the city and also took a course completely taught in french. I studies the language before so I wanted to speak it as much as possible.

about the city
What was your impression of the city? How would you describe it? What is interesting to see here?
The city was the best! not only it was near to big European cities to reach during the day but you could always meet and network at any moment! it is super multicultural and accessible.
about finances
In your experience, how far does the scholarship go? What percentage of your expenses did it cover? What is your opinion on prices in the country in general?
The scholarship covered completely the rent and house expenses. Of course that chances on ones life style.
Please advise your classmates on how to save money—Where to shop? What services can be used to save money?
use student discounts as much as possible and take advantage of the stuff provided by the uni or on campus. to get the discounts it could take some bureaucratic effort but it is worth it! if you are still 23 on the papers the public transport ticket for ONE ENTIRE YEAR is only 12 euros. Plus since it is a big city with lots of events, conferences and networking opportunities it is not only super useful to go there for knowing people but also to be offered a buffet at the end of the event and save on dinner ;)

about accommodation
What type of accommodation did you choose? Would you recommend it to others? If not, what type of accommodation do you think is best based on your experience (dormitory, private apartment, private dormitory, shared room, etc.)?
A private room is always the best to choose. You definitely ill find someone from your country. The housing market is really competitive but be patient, introduce ourself with some nice words and try to get to it as soon as possible!
about experiences
Did you use Erasmus stay to travel around your country/Europe? What are your best travel experiences? What would you not recommend?
Language and culture: what cultural differences did you notice? How did you cope with the national language? Was it also the language of your studies? Do you feel that your language skills improved during your stay?
final rating
Why here? What makes this location special? Why would you send your friends to your country/city?
