What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Erasmus MC a Univerzita Erasmus je špičkové pracoviště světového významu. Nachází se v moderní budově a skvělém pulzujícím městě Rotterdam. Vědecká práce je zde na vysoké úrovni.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Kolegové a nadřízení byly velmi vstřícní a milí. Klinické semináře probíhali v angličtině (nevím, zda všechny měsíce). Administrativa a vyřízení přístupových hesel a karet bylo zcela bez problémů.
What is student life like at university?
Kolegové byli velmi nápomocní, seznámila jsem se zde s dalšími 2 studentkami z Portugalska
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
Komunikovala jsem v angličtině. Nemusela jsem dokládat certifikát.

Rotterdam je moderní město, nabízí perfektní kulturní vyžití. Lidé jsou velmi přívětiví.

Ubytování je velmi drahé a je ho nedostatek. S výběrem ubytování jsem nebyla dostatečně pohotová, musela jsem přistoupit k dražší variantě a stipendium nestačilo ani na polovinu částky ubytování za pobyt.

Erasmus MC má svou zaměstnaneckou jídelnu, zde se dá za rozumnou cenu najíst. V restauracích jsou ceny vysoké, je rozhodně leoší si vařit ze surovin ze supermarketu.

What type of accommodation did you choose? Would you recommend it to others? If not, what type of accommodation do you think is best based on your experience (dormitory, private apartment, private dormitory, shared room, etc.)?
Koleje ani studentské byty byly nedostupné. Zvolila jsem ubytování přes airbnb, ale bylo velice drahé. Lokalita byla však velmi výhodná a blízko zaměstnání.

Did you use Erasmus stay to travel around your country/Europe? What are your best travel experiences? What would you not recommend?
Jelikož má stáž byla krátká, podívala jsem se pouze do sousedních měst Haag a Delf do 30 minut vlakem.
Language and culture: what cultural differences did you notice? How did you cope with the national language? Was it also the language of your studies? Do you feel that your language skills improved during your stay?
Obyvatelé Rotterdamu působili velmi mile a přátelsky.

O této univerzitě mohu říci jen samé superlativy, takže pokud váháte, rozhodně jeďte.
