What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Marnix Academie byla naprosto krásná, moderní a s příjemným okolím školy, které tvořila příroda a malebné uličky. Učebny byly kvalitně zařízené, vzdušné a vyšší patra měla dechberoucí výhled na město i přírodu.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Na Marnix Academii k nám byli všichni milí, vlídní a otevření. Často jsme se nasmáli a učitelé zde vždy podporovali uvolněnou atmosféru. Když nastal nějaký problém, byli vždy ochotní mi jej pomoci vyřešit.
What is student life like at university?
Za dobu krátkodobé mobility jsem se žádných činností spolků nezúčastnila, tak nemohu posoudit. Co se volnočasových aktivit týče, měli jsme například výlet na kole s komentovanou prohlídkou či výbornou závěrečnou večeři :)
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
Mluvila jsem anglicky, nizozemština není nutná. Nikdo z vyučujících nekladl vysoké nároky na angličtinu, naopak nás podoporovali, abychom spolu komunikovali a nebáli se :)

Utrecht je moc krásné město, tak akorát velké, aby se tam člověk cítil jako doma i měl pořád co objevovat. Líbily se mi kavárny, parky či knihovna a venkovní posezení.

Měli jsme nádherné stipendium, které bych přála všem, peníze nám dokonce zbyly.

Bydlet se spolužáky, jinak jsem nešetřila :)

Hostel Stay Okay, v centru, čistý, hezký, modern, bezepčný.

Byla jsem zde na týden, tak jsem prozkoumávala hlavně Utrecht a jeden den jsem strávila v Amsterdamu, doporučuji obě města :)
Language and culture: what cultural differences did you notice? How did you cope with the national language? Was it also the language of your studies? Do you feel that your language skills improved during your stay?
Všichni hovoří anglicky, a tak jsem se bohužel nizozemštinu učila jen z Duolinga :D Angličtinu jsem si ale procvičila hodně, hlavně tu konverzační.

Vyjít ze své introvertní bubliny a více se bavit s ostatními, což bylo skvělé!
