What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Univerzita se nachází asi 20 minut jízdy autobusem od centra Dublinu. Kampus je veliký a mísí se tam spousta studentů z různých fakult. Na kampusu je spousta míst, kde se najíst, i kde trávit čas mezi lekcemi.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Studium je více postavené na samostatné práci studenta. Největší rozdíl oproti Česku je ve způsobu zkoušení - píší se tam většinou eseje. Ty se píší doma, nebo ve škole (resp. v halách, kde zároveň píše test klidně i 1800 studentů).
What is student life like at university?
Na univerzitě je mnoho spolků, volitelných předmětů a ze začátku semestru i seznamovacích akcí.
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
V angličtině. Ve škole se očekává opravdu dobrá znalost angličtiny.

Dublin je krásné město, děje se tam spousta akcí - koncertů, výstav ...

Kvůli krizi s ubytováním nestačí stipendium ani na polovinu měsíčních výdajů.

Využívat aplikace obchodů, mnohdy se tam dají najít hezké slevy.

What type of accommodation did you choose? Would you recommend it to others? If not, what type of accommodation do you think is best based on your experience (dormitory, private apartment, private dormitory, shared room, etc.)?
Zvolila jsem si soukromou kolej, protože sehnání ubytování je velmi těžké. Bylo to fajn, ale za ty peníze se to nevyplatí. Nejlepší a nejlevnější je určitě sdílený pokoj v bytě, ovšem člověk si musí dávat pozor, protože ubytovací krize se snaží využít různí podvodící.

Dublin je krásné město, kde jsou lidé moc milí a přátelští. Univerzita nabízí zajímavé předměty a přístup vyučujících je výborný. Nutné je ale opravdu dobře zvážit financování.
