What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Moc hezká budova (vila) a milí učitelé, rodinná atmosféra – takový Hollar přímo u moře. Jen pozor, fakulta FTHM není přímo v Rijece, ale v části Ika (cca 45 min mhd z centra)
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Dost podobný systém, naše fakulta měla hodně projektů během semestru, ale nebylo to příliš těžké

Možnost učit se chorvatsky, studentské spolky

Vše v angličtině, vůbec to nebyl problém

Menší město, ale dobrá poloha pro další cestování jak po chorvatsku, tak do itálie, slovinska a alternativně i dál. Město je industriálnější, ale dají se najít i hezká místa

V chorvatsku mají studenti jídlo v menze za cca 1 euro na porci, což byla super pomoc během pobytu. Protože jsem během semestru hodně cestovala, použila jsem i svoje peníze, ale věřím, že pokud někdo šetří a necestuje, dokáže se stipendiem vyjít. Cestování ale doporučuji všema deseti

Chodit do menzy, využívat studentských slev na dopravu, pořídit si esn kartu (sleva na flixbus)

kolej – byla moc hezká, samostatný pokoj s kuchyní i koupelnou, jen je na kopci nad centrem a bez nočních autobusů

byla jsem v různých chorvatských městech, v itálii, slovinsku a bosně a hercegovině, na cestování to bylo super
Language and culture: what cultural differences did you notice? How did you cope with the national language? Was it also the language of your studies? Do you feel that your language skills improved during your stay?
dalo se všude dobře domluvit anglicky, příp. lámaně s češtinou, škola v cizím jazyce určitě pomůže se rozmluvit a nestydět se mluvit (se spolužáky, při prezentacích, ...)
