What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Co mě první napadne: Autenticita, subkultura, kultura.
Čím byla výjimečná: Líbila se mi úzká spolupráce mezi týmy v CC ale i organizacemi a stakeholdery. V tomhle oboru je kladen důraz na dobré vztahy a celosvětovou spolupráci.
Jak vypadaly prostory: Pracovala jsem remotely a nebo jsme se scházeli ve workspaceu Factory Berlin, kde to bylo moderní, ale byla tam často zima :-).

Připadala jsem si moc vítaná a jako důležitá součást týmu.

Berlín miluju, nevím co k tomu víc říct :-) po konci letního semestru se tam vrátím až do podzimu.

Vyšla jsem docela dobře. Ceny potravin jsou levnější než v Praze a bydlení je už skoro na podobné úrovni. Stipendium mi pokrývalo přesně dvě třetiny životních výdajů.
Please advise your classmates on how to save money—Where to shop? What services can be used to save money?
Do restaurací jsem chodila minimálně a když tak se nechala zvát :-). Potraviny co mi chutnaly jsem kupovala v Edece, ta je nejdražší ale má super věci a zbytek základních surovin jsem kupovala v Nettu.
V létě si myslím, že člověk nebude potřebovat hromadnou dopravu když bude mít kolo, takže by ušetřil 60 euro měsíčně. Já bohužel potřebovala.
Ale jinak jsem svůj životní standard musela docela osekat, ale ani mi to nijak nevadilo. Brala jsem to jako součást a potraviny jsou v Německu lepší než tady takže jsem si naopak jedla lépe. To že jsem nechodila na nehty nebo tak mi nevadilo.
Budget Tip - Mozzarela Buratta za 2 eura v Edece
A balení 4 řeckých jogurtů za 1,20 Eur skoro všude.

What type of accommodation did you choose? Would you recommend it to others? If not, what type of accommodation do you think is best based on your experience (dormitory, private apartment, private dormitory, shared room, etc.)?
S ubytováním to bylo trošku horší. Změnila jsem byt 3x a dvakrát z toho byl dost hrozný a stál 600 euro měsíčně. Jednou jsem měla na měsíc štěstí a bydlela v nádherném bytě. Nemám co poradit s hledáním bytu mají extrémní problém i lidé co v Berlíně bydlí. Nejlepší je udělat si tam kamarády a ptát se jich pak už to jde snáze. Nejhorší bylo najít ten první byt když jsem tam nikoho neznala. Ten jsem našla náhodou uplně a bohužel to nakonec nebylo úplně ono.

Ano jela jsem s Organizací VibeLab, kde jsem pomáhala, což je sesterská organizace Clubcommission Berlin. Do Amsterdamu na Amsetrdam Dance Event. Jela jsem z Berlína vlakem asi 7 hodin a bylo to super. Nijak mi to nevadilo a nepřijela jsem rozlámaná nebo tak něco.
Cestování U Bahnem se mi nelíbilo ale bylo nutné :D
Tramvaje jsou oka a autobusy taky.

Stáhla jsem si na začátku duolingo na němčinu, kteoru jsem nikdy nestudovala a musím říct, že opravdu každý den jsem poctivě cvičila a snažila se němčinu používat co nejvíce. Hlavně při placení nebo ptaní se lidí na ulici " Einschuldegung, wo ist die Apotheke, Dm, Frankfurter Alee banhof... A tak :D
To mě moc bavilo a učím se přes duolingo dál.

Vzala bych si spíše míň věcí :D Nakonec jsem nosila to stejné dokola a to že jsem měla hodně věcí bylo hrozné na stěhování se z bytu do bytu :D takže určitě méně je více

When I think of the Sofia Security Forum, the first thing that comes to mind is its dynamic, policy-oriented research environment combined with a strong focus on regional geopolitical issues. What made this organization truly unique was its deep expertise in Black Sea security, the Balkans, and foreign policy strategies of small states, offering a practical, real-world perspective on international relations.
The workspace was professional and collaborative, equipped with all the necessary tools for policy research, monitoring regional security developments, and preparing analytical briefs. Working directly within an active security policy network provided a seamless bridge between academic theory and high-level diplomatic and strategic analysis.

Když se řekne Humbold Uni, jako první se mi vybaví její skvělá atmosféra a lokace v samotném srdci Berlína. Právnická fakulta sídlí v historické budově přímo na hlavní třídě Unter den Linden, takže studium tady má svůj genius loci. Prostory fakulty kombinují klasickou architekturu s moderně vybavenými přednáškovými sály i menšími seminárními místnostmi, takže vajbem je to dost podobné naší právnické fakultě v Praze:)
Jednoznačně největší přednost z hlediska zázemí je nedaleké Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum. Tahle centrální univerzitní knihovna má nejen rozsáhlý fond německé i mezinárodní právní literatury, ale především poskytuje klidný prostor na učení a psaní prací. Celkově je univerzita velmi otevřená, kosmopolitní a vstřícná k zahraničním studentům, takže se člověk rychle aklimatizuje, a zároveň si udržuje vysoký akademický standard.

Dublin City University vlastní poměrně rozlehlý kampus, na kterém najdete všechno od obchodu přes knihovnu až po hospodu. Často se zde konají nejrůznější akce, takže je zde živo. Super je systém Pantry, kde si po přihlášení můžete odnést každý týden domů nějaké potraviny zdarma. Dále nabízí členství spolků v podstatě na všechny aktivity co si dokážete představit, ať už jde o volejbal nebo hraní deskovek. Lidé z místního studijního jsou velmi vstřícní a nemusíte se za nimi jít s žádnou "blbostí". Na začátku semestru si jich užijete, protože začátek semestru se nese ve znamení papírování a systém zapisování/měnění předmětů je hodně matoucí. Jinak je občas ve třídách zima, takže doporučuju nosit teplé oblečení.

Na stáži jsem byla pod hlavičkou PUMS - Poznan University of Medical Sciences. Jde o jednu z předních univerzit v Polsku a určitě poskytuje kvalitní vzdělání. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsem zde byla na praktické stáži, univerzitní prostory jako takové jsem nenavštívila. Komunikace s koordinátorkou pro Erasmus byla velmi dobrá a kdykoliv jsem cokoliv potřebovala, informace jsem dostala obratem.
