What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Univerzita je ze 70' let, nicméně vybavení je dostačující. Lze studovat například v knihovně, kam je volný přístup. U univerzity je botanická zahrada, kde se můžete procházet a sbírat inspiraci. Je tu jak menza, tak i restaurace pro studenty. Na univerzitu se lze z centra dostat autobusem, nebo třeba na kole.

What is student life like at university?
Na univerzitě jsou pořádány různé přednášky pro studenty. Konají se tu i velmi dobrá představení studentského divadla za rozumnou cenu.

Komunikovala jsem v němčině.

Regensburg je krásné a velmi přátelské město. Po městě je hustá sít MHD - doporučuji si stáhnout aplikaci RVV, kde najdete spoje a můžete si koupit jízdenky. Jinak je město ideální pro cyklisty (jen si dejte pozor, aby Vás v centru žádný nesrazil), nebo elektrické koloběžky (dají se i pronajmout). K návštěvě doporučuji centrum, kde je spoustu kaváren i krámků (nejen pro turisty) a památník Walhalla odkud je krásný výhled. Koupat se můžete přímo v Dunaji, ideálně na na soutoku s řekou Narb.

Regensburg není příliš drahé město a stipendium pokryje ca 80 % nákladů. Na nákupy doporučuji obchodní centrum Arcaden, které je hned u hlavního nádraží. Potom supermarkety jako Edeka nebo Netto. Pozor, ne všude berou karty, vyplatí se mít hotovost.

Na nákupy doporučuji obchodní centrum Arcaden, které je hned u hlavního nádraží. Potom supermarkety jako Edeka nebo Netto. Pozor, ne všude berou karty, vyplatí se mít hotovost.
MHD není nejlevnější, doporučuji cestovat na kole. Regensburg je velmi zelené město a místo dražších obědů se nabízí udělat si piknik.

Všichni jsou moc milí, od kolegů na studiu a profesorů až po prodavačky.
S jazykem není problém, německy se domluvíte všude.

Regensburg je příjemně přehledný, ne moc velký, ne moc malý. Jsou tu milí lidé, klid na studium i noční život. Úžasná je německá pořádkumilovnost a upravenost celého města.
