What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Prostory univerzity byly velmi moderní, nové. Prostředí přátelské a příjemné. Na MMU jsem se cítila velmi dobře.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Ke všem studentům se přistupuje stejně. Na LLM jsem byla jediná exchange studentka a i tak jsem se občas musela připomínat, že nejsem součástí běžného programu.
What is student life like at university?
Aktivity pro studenty pořádá jak univerzita, tak studentská unie. Každý týden bylo z čeho vybírat.

Už několik let mám C2 v angličtině, ale nebála bych se vyjet ani s B2.

Manchester jsem si zamilovala! Město mi naprosto sedlo a řekla bych, že jsem měla velké štěstí, protože v jiných městech v UK se mi tolik nelíbilo, ale to je asi na každém. Velmi jsem si užívala bydlení v centru a fakt, že jsem mohla všude chodit pěšky. Také místní architektura a celková atmosféra města je skvělá.

In your experience, how far does the scholarship go? What percentage of your expenses did it cover? What is your opinion on prices in the country in general?
Stipendium mi pokrylo cca 45% nákladů na bydlení. Bydlela jsem na soukromé koleji, a to od konce ledna do půlky července, takže jsem i přesáhla dobu, po kterou mi bylo stipendium poskytováno. Jinak to ale bohužel nešlo zařídit a ve finále jsem za ten čas navíc ráda. Pokud uvažujete na výjezdem na jeden semestr, tak doporučuji tenancy takeover po někom, kdo chce z koleje odejít (např. na Fb je v různých skupinách inzerátů dost). Škola totiž bydlení pouze na půl rok nenabízí.

Tady je potřeba podotknout, že UK je prostě dražší než ČR. Za jídlo jsem dala 2x tolik, co v Praze. Ale všechno jde nějak zvládnout. Co se týče šetření, tak mě napadá jen to, že MMU nabízí odvoz z letiště pro international studenty zdarma. Jinak si založte studentský Amazon Prime a Student Beans/UNiDAYS účet.

Soukromá kolej Unite Students. Cena je vyšší, ale stojí to za to. Pokud nechcete na kolej, tak doporučuji hledat přes Facebook sdílené domy.

Po Anglii cestujte vlakem!! Já byla v Liverpoolu, Sheffieldu, Londýně, Peak District, Yorku a Derby.

Já jsem si hodně přála vyjet do anglicky mluvící země a nechtěla jsem být úplně na maloměstě, takže Manchester byl perfektní volbou.

If I went again, I would definitely remember to pack...
Adaptér :D, ale ono ve finále všechno koupíte a nic mi nechybělo.
