Mají se moc dobře, krásné budovy, skvělá Mensa i knihovna. Výborné technické vybavení, které je dostupné studentům 24/7.

Studentům se věří a hodiny jsou koncipovány tak, aby studenty bavily. Nelpí se na malichernostech jako pozdních příchodech, absencích nebo nedodržených deadlinech.
What is student life like at university?
Univerzita toho pořádá tolik, že jsem nestihla všechno zkusit. Studium mě až příliš bavilo a na volnočasové aktivity mi nezbývalo mnoho času.

Mluvit německy je výhodou, angličtina ale bohatě stačí.

Studentské, možná trošku babičkovské. Je tam klid na studium, bezpečí, příjemně. Když chce člověk trochu dobrodružství, může jet do Frankfurtu, cestování má s univerzitní kartou zdarma po celém Hesensku.

Západní Německo je drahé, stipendium mi nevystačilo a budu muset doplácet.

Rozhodně nedoporučuji koleje. Je dobré získat kontakt na kohokoliv ze studentů v Giessenu, poprosit o přidání do nějaké studentské skupiny na WhatsApp nebo Telegramu a zkusit hledat všechno tam (ubytování, kolo atd.)

Pro mě kvůli oboru a pedagogům, o kterých jsem věděla, že jsou dobří ještě než jsem na Erasmus vyjela. Je tam výborná divadelní fakulta.
