What made your university special? What were the facilities where you studied and the university equipment like?
Universita v Avignonu byla velice krásná. Budova jako taková byla historická, což se mi velice líbilo. Zároveň naproti byla vystavěna moderní knihovna, takže se propojila historie s moderními prvky.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Semestr byl organizovaný jinak, co se týče zkoušek. Na naší univerzitě jsou zkoušky až na konci semestru, zatím co na avignonské univerzitě byly zkoušky jak polovině tak na konci semestru.
What is student life like at university?
Určitě univerzita něco takového pořádá, sama jsem se jich ale nezúčastnila.
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
Celý semestr jsem komunikovala ve francouzštině. Anglický jazyk na jihu Francie moc rozšířený není.

Avignon je krásně místo, určitě bych se tam chtěla vrátit. Je to město studentské, takže během prázdnin, kdy se studenti vrací domů, se tam nic moc neděje.

Se stipendiem jde vyjít. Pokrylo mi to nájem, elektřinu a jídlo. Ostatní věci jako jízdenky apod. jsem si hradila sama.

V Avignonu existuje obchod, kde studenti a sociálně slabí obdrží nějaké suroviny zadarmo. Takže pokud chcete ušetřit, běžte tam.

Bydlela jsem na koleji a určitě bych to doporučila, už jen z ekonomického hlediska.

Did you use Erasmus stay to travel around your country/Europe? What are your best travel experiences? What would you not recommend?
Po Francii jsem hodně cestovala vlakem. V tomto je Avignon naprosto ideální, neboť je tam TGV nádraží.
Language and culture: what cultural differences did you notice? How did you cope with the national language? Was it also the language of your studies? Do you feel that your language skills improved during your stay?
V jazyce jsem se hodně posunula, díky tomu, že jsem nemohla "utéct" do angličtiny, kterou se na jihu Francie moc nemluví.

Určitě bych Avignon doporučila, je to sice malé město, ale studentské, takže je o zábavu postaráno.
