Mykolas Romeris University disponovala moderním vybavením, přičemž si dávala záležet na tom, aby si studenti vyzkoušeli i praktickou stránku věci a ne pouze teorii.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your "adoptive" university? What made it special? What were the premises where you studied and the university facilities like?
Akademický rok začíná již na konci srpna, přičemž je třeba počítat se změnami na poslední chvíli, neboť kupříkladu rozvrh dorazil den před začátkem semestru, tudíž neměl člověk moc času s tím cokoliv udělat.
What is student life like at university?
Pokud si dobře pamatuju, funguje zde ESN sekce, která zařizovala velké množství výletů a akcí, což je třeba vyzdvihnout.
Did you study in English or in the language of the host country? What language requirements does the university have?
Komunikoval jsem v angličtině, ruština by nejspíše byla výhodou.

Město je přes týden klidné s krásným historickým centrem, do kterého to autobusem z kolejí trvalo cca. 30 minut. Doporučuji projít Vilnius g., což je hlavní ulice s velkým množstvím lákadel. Populace je relativně mladá, což budí příjemný pocit.

Stipendium pokrylo cca. všechny výdaje, pokud se člověk chtěl účastnit mimoškolních akcí, je třeba mít něco našetřeno.

Kousek od kolejí byl LIDL, kde byly ceny mnohem nižší než v ostatních supermarketech, rovněž mají levné MHD. Život ve Vilniusu obecně není drahý.

Byl jsem na koleji, což je dle mého názoru ideální volba, neboť se tak člověk dostane do kontaktu s velkým množstvím studentů a rozšíří své obzory.

V litevštině jsem se, popravdě, příliš nezdokonalil, neboť jsem ji neovládal před pobytem a neovládám ji doteď. Kultura je velmi podobná např. Polsku.

Jelikož se zde sejde velké množství lidí z různých zemí - koneckonců vždy jsou to nakonec lidi, kteří dělají Erasmus výjimečným.
