Applications are invited to attend the Estoril Political Forum, organised by the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), Lisbon and taking place in the coastal town of Estoril. During the event, the Europaeum will host a special debate, which will be run in the style of an Oxford Union debate. Students will speak for or against a proposition, with expert commentators on hand, before the audience votes to decide which side has won. This year’s topic for debate is: ‘This House would prioritise global cooperation over national independence’.

Applicants must be postgraduates (Master’s or PhD).

Reasonable travel expenses from Prague to Estoril and back, as well as accommodation and board during event days, will be covered for selected participants.
