The UNESCO Chair on Cultural Diplomacy, Governance and Education at Istanbul Aydın University is pleased to invite students to participate in the IAU UNESCO Winter Peace and Diplomacy Program, taking place from 1–7 February 2027 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

This cultural immersion program brings together students from different countries for a week of academic sessions, practical diplomacy training, intercultural exchange and cultural activities. Through expert-led lectures, interactive workshops and Model United Nations training, participants will deepen their understanding of peace, diplomacy and international relations while developing valuable communication, negotiation and public speaking skills.

Participation Fee: 690 USD

The participation fee includes accommodation, daily meals, academic sessions, workshops, Model United Nations training, cultural tours, learning materials, participant support and a Certificate of Completion.

Practical Diplomacy Experience

Model United Nations training, intercultural workshops and discussion sessions will help participants develop practical skills in:

International Academic Connections

The program includes organised visits to Istanbul’s historical and cultural landmarks, including the Historical Peninsula and the Bosphorus. These activities allow participants to discover the city while experiencing intercultural dialogue and cultural diplomacy beyond the classroom.
