Europaeum Summer School on Creativity and Innovation in Poland | with travel and board fees covered
Creativity and innovation stand at the heart of today’s Europe and at its capacity to seize emerging opportunities. Europeans, however, must navigate digital transformations, climate transitions, demographic shifts and evolving global competition to take advantage of them. This year’s Europaeum Summer School will take place at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, a UNESCO City of Literature and a historic centre of learning and will examine creativity and innovation’s multifaceted intersections.

Participants may come from a humanities, social science, or policy studies background (or beyond).
Participants who wish to join the discussions or to present a 15-minute paper based on their research. We especially welcome proposals for papers addressing the theme in relation to the following topics:

- Digital creativity and technological innovation
- Social innovation and civic engagement
- Creative cities and urban regeneration

All students currently enrolled on Master’s or PhD courses are eligible to apply for this event.
Successful candidates will be provided with accommodation and subsistence free of charge and will be reimbursed reasonable travel expenses within Europe.

Estoril Political Forum in Portugal - ‘Independence in an Interdependent World’ | with travel and board fees covered
Applications are invited to attend the Estoril Political Forum, organised by the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), Lisbon and taking place in the coastal town of Estoril. During the event, the Europaeum will host a special debate, which will be run in the style of an Oxford Union debate. Students will speak for or against a proposition, with expert commentators on hand, before the audience votes to decide which side has won. This year’s topic for debate is: ‘This House would prioritise global cooperation over national independence’.
Applicants must be postgraduates (Master’s or PhD).

Traineeships in the European Parliament
The European Parliament offers two types of traineeships: Traineeships in the Secretariat (Schuman traineeships) and Traineeships with Members of the European Parliament.

Traineeships in the Secretariat – Schuman Traineeships
Schuman traineeships are paid and can be undertaken at one of the European Parliament’s official places of work – Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg – or in its Liaison Offices in the Member States.
A Schuman traineeship:
- will enhance your education and your vocational training
- will provide you with an insight into the work of the EU institutions and the European Parliament, a crucial forum for decision-making and political debate at EU level
- may be undertaken in a wide variety of fields, such as EU internal and external policies, finance, law, multilingualism, administration, infrastructure and logistics, communication or IT.
- is an equal opportunities employer; candidates without distinction as to gender, sexual orientation, cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds or disability are encouraged to apply, with reasonable accommodation available for successful candidates with disabilities who may need them.
- is honouring journalists who were killed during the exercise of their work - the Directorate-General for Communication offers a number of Schuman traineeships in memory of Ján Kuciak, the Slovak investigative journalist who was murdered in February 2018.
- opens pathway for the Schuman Recruitment and Development Programme, which is a new and exciting programme that creates a pathway for a number of high performing Schuman trainees to continue working for Parliament as staff members, following the successful completion of their traineeship.
Application:
The Schuman traineeships are awarded for a period of five months:
- Traineeship period 1 October-28/29 February - you can apply from 1 to 31 May
- Traineeship period 1 March-31 July - you can apply from 1 to 31 October
Spontaneous applications will not be considered.
Applicants for a Schuman traineeship must:
- be aged 18 or over;
- be nationals of a Member State of the European Union or an accession/candidate country (a very limited number of traineeships to nationals of other countries can also be offered);
- hold a university level diploma (!)
- have a thorough knowledge of one of the official EU languages and a very good knowledge of a second (citizens of non-Member States must have a very good knowledge of either English, French or German);
- provide an eligible criminal record;
- not have worked, or have benefitted from any other type of traineeship, for more than two consecutive months in an EU institution, body or agency;
- not have carried out a study visit at the Secretariat of the European Parliament six months prior to the beginning of the traineeship.

Traineeships with Members of the European Parliament
Members of the European Parliament may offer paid traineeships at their offices in the premises of the European Parliament in Brussels (or Strasbourg) based on an agreement with the European Parliament.
The MEP traineeship:
- will enhance your education and your vocational training
- will allow you to better understand the working methods of the Members of the European Parliament
- may be undertaken in a wide variety of fields
- is between six weeks and five consecutive months, and is decided on by the Member of Parliament who awards the traineeship. It can start at any time during the year.
- awards a monthly grant of between € 1133 and € 1856 for a full-time traineeship
Members freely choose their trainees. However, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:
- be aged 18 or over (derogations from this age limit can be granted in response to a duly substantiated request);
- be nationals of a Member State of the European Union or an accession/candidate country. Nevertheless, Members may offer a traineeship to nationals of third countries, provided they comply with visa requirements;
- have obtained a secondary-school leaving certificate, followed a higher or technical or vocational course of study to an equivalent level, or obtained a university level diploma
- have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the European Union;
- not be party to an employment contract or any working contractual relationship during their traineeship;
- not have carried out a previous traineeship with a Member, nor have previously worked as a parliamentary assistant to a Member, whether local or accredited.

Erasmus+ stáž v České škole bez hranic Rhein-Main ve Frankfurtu nad Mohanem
Do školy docházejí děti ve věku od 18 měsíců do 15 let. Škola se specializuje se na podporu rodin ve vícejazyčné výchově. Praxí si vyzkoušíš práci s dětmi různých věkových kategorií, abys pochopil/-a rozdílnosti ve vývojových stupních. Jedná se o jednu z mála českých škol v zahraničí, která disponuje volnými prostory. Sídlo má ve Frankfurtu, učí se v Zeppelinheimu (třetí výstupní stanice metrem za hlavním nádražím linkou S7).
Předpoklady pro práci:
- mateřský jazyk čeština (výborná znalost), znalost slovenštiny výhodou;
- pobyt minimálně na jedno pololetí, ideálně na celý rok;
- studium pedagogiky, ideálně učitelství prvního stupně, českého jazyka nebo českých reálií (prvouka, dějepis, zeměpis), přidružené studium speciální pedagogiky výhodou;
- příjemné vystupování, laskavý přístup k dětem, organizační schopnosti a chuť pozorovat, učit se nebo dokonce něco naučit i nás.
Stáž nabízí:
- Aktivní zapojení do výuky a pedagogické praxe
- Nadšená skupina vícejazyčně vychovávaných dětí (= zkušenost k nezaplacení) a práce s našim vlastním vzdělávacím konceptem, který tvoji práci podpoří
- Participace na marketingových činnostech, v administrativě, logistice i samostatná organizace volnočasových aktivit pro děti s českými kořeny
- Rozsah práce 35h/týdně
- Spolupráce na mezinárodním vzdělávacím online projektu Průvodce vícejazyčnou výchovou
- Znalost němčiny není podmínkou, ale výhodou
Ubytování:
- Ve Frankfurtu je ubytování velmi drahé, za 1 pokojový byt je nutné počítat s částkou € 700-1.000.
- Vyučuje se v Zeppelinheimu, kde má škola kontakt k majiteli 2 pokojového bytu, který si stážisté mohou pronajmout za přibližně € 750/měsíc.
- Tento byt s malou terasou a zahrádkou je v 1. podlaží, vzdálený jen 5 minut chůze od našich prostor či nádraží.
- Škola po dohodě o stáži ráda zprostředkuje kontakt.

Blended Intensive Programme (BIP): "Reading for a Stronger Europe: From Pixels to Pages – Reading Europe Differently"
Reading for a Stronger Europe: From Pixels to Pages – Reading Europe Differently (3 ECTS) is a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organized as the final event of the FORTHEM Europe Forum project. The project aims to develop students’ multilingual and cross-cultural communication skills across Europe.
The BIP course is organized by the University of Latvia in collaboration with University of Jyväskylä, University Bourgogne, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and University of Opole.
During the BIP course, participants will collaboratively explore advanced reading skills and the concept of receptive multilingualism in a multicultural and multidisciplinary learning environment.
The course comprises two mandatory online meetings, learning diaries, and a live week:
- First online session: 08.05.2026 at 15–16.30 CET (16–17.30 EET)
- Second online session: 29.05.2026 at 15–16.30 CET (16–17.30 EET)
- Live contact teaching week in Rīga 8–12 June 2026
On completion of the BIP the student is expected to:
- Read smarter and deeper
Read more critically, creatively, and empathetically – across literature, digital media, and AI-generated texts — and understand how meaning is shaped in today’s digital Europe. - Explore languages and cultures through reading
Discover how multilingual reading works in practice and learn to engage with texts in several European languages, even if they are not in the native language or English. - Think, discuss, and create together
Share ideas, debate ethical and social issues, and collaborate with students from different countries on creative reading projects, translations, and digital or visual outputs. - Communicate better in academic life and beyond
Consolidate communication, intercultural, and networking skills, and learn how deep reading supports democratic thinking, responsible information sharing, and global citizenship.
Fees:
- The course and the social programme are free of charge for the participants.
- Participants must pay for their travel and public transport expenses, accommodation, meals, and any other personal expenses.
- Students must check with their home universities for possible Erasmus BIP-funding and/or BIP-status to attend the course.

Summer school: "Recent Developments on Financial Crime, Corruption and Money Laundering: European and International Perspectives" at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
The Research Institute for Transparency, Corruption and Financial Crime of the Faculty of Law, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in cooperation with the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning - AUTh, will host a 6-day intensive summer school on recent developments in financial crime, corruption, and money laundering at the national, European, and international level. The programme examines key legal and institutional developments, including EU anti-fraud and anti-corruption frameworks, money laundering, organised crime, asset recovery, and related legislative initiatives.
The summer school will be delivered in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation with interactive sessions.

Learning Outcomes
- Gain extensive, specialized, and both practical and theoretical knowledge of recent European and international developments and emerging trends in financial crime, corruption, and money laundering, while developing an understanding of the boundaries and limitations of this knowledge
- Develop a thorough and essential understanding of legislative and jurisprudential developments in these scientific fields, within both their European and international contexts.
- Participants develop a wide range of cognitive and practical skills required to find creative solutions to problems in the fields of financial crime, corruption, and money laundering, particularly in relation to recent legislative and jurisprudential developments in these areas.
- Participants develop the ability to manage and oversee cases related to financial crime, corruption, and money laundering, even in situations where unforeseen changes may occur.
After successful completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate of Training with 5 ECTS.
