Winter School: Intensive Language Programme at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain
In January Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria organizes Winter School, an intensive Spanish learning program, accompanied by fun and interesting cultural and recreational activities. During the mornings, winter school includes Spanish classes (initial level A1+) and in the afternoons various activities of linguistic immersion and collaborative experiential tourism, which will delight the participating students (surfing, nature trails, cultural visits, excursion to the dunes of Maspalomas, etc.)
Date: 12-30 January, 2026
Location: either on-site at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Spain, or online

Programme:
- 3-week intensive course (60 hours, A1.2 level)
- Morning Spanish classes (09:30–14:00 GMT)
- 6 ECTS credits + official ULPGC certificate
- On-site participants join cultural and recreational activities around the island (surfing, nature trails, cultural visits, Maspalomas dunes trip)

Summer Program in Medicine: University of British Columbia, Vancouver
The Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites students from Charles University to join the 2026 Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) in Medicine. This four-week academic program offers students the opportunity to study at a world-renowned medical school, explore cutting-edge research, and experience life in Vancouver alongside peers from around the globe.
Participants can choose from 11 specialised course packages covering topics such as clinical medicine, computational medicine, anatomy, laboratory sciences, and more. The program also includes cultural activities, city exploration, and opportunities to learn about Canadian society and healthcare. Students may enroll in either the June session or the July session, each featuring a different set of course packages.

Program Dates:
- June Session: 5 June - 5 July, 2026
- July Session: 17 July - 17 August, 2026

Eligibility:

ESC Volunteering Opportunity in Reggio Emilia, Italy
YouNet Reggio Emilia is offering a long-term European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering placement for two people interested in youth work, international mobility, and intercultural activities.
Volunteers will join the organisation’s VET (Vocational Education and Training) Team and support European students participating in training mobilities in Italy. The placement includes both organisational tasks and creative activities, giving volunteers the chance to develop teamwork, communication, and project management skills in an international environment.
Main Tasks:
- Welcoming and checking in student groups
- Accompanying students to work placements and cultural visits
- Supporting logistics in the office and student residences
- Preparing documents (travel cards, certificates, infopacks)
- Managing social media and newsletters
- Helping promote EU values and youth opportunities
- Assisting with events, meetings, and occasional English activities
Conditions:
- Duration: 6–12 months from February 2026
- Location: Reggio Emilia, Italy
- Accommodation in a shared flat with other volunteers
- Monthly food allowance (€150) + pocket money (€6/day)
- Local transport pass provided
- Travel costs reimbursed (€180–€820)
- Two free days per week + extra monthly free days
- Italian language support via OLS and optional classes

- Age: 18-30
- Polish speakers will be given priority

Global Leadership Training Program 2026 in Vancouver: Fully Covered Summer Opportunity
Are you interested in developing your leadership skills, gaining hands-on experience with youth, and exploring Canada next summer? Bodwell’s Global Leadership Training Program (GLTP) offers a unique six-week opportunity for motivated young adults to grow personally and professionally in an international environment.
Hosted in Vancouver, BC, the GLTP brings together participants from around the world to support children and teens attending the Bodwell Summer Program. As a Global Leader, you will work directly with campers aged 9-18, guide daily activities, build connections across cultures, and take part in leadership workshops designed to help you lead, connect, and inspire.
Alongside your leadership role, the program includes cultural outings across Vancouver, outdoor adventures, and a celebratory two-day overnight trip to Whistler.
Accommodation, meals, medical insurance, and all core program activities are fully covered, and Bodwell provides partial travel support to help participants join from abroad.

International Winter School at Bordeaux Montaigne University
This February, Bordeaux Montaigne University will launch the first edition of its International Winter School, offering international students an introduction to French culture, geography, history, and literature - all taught in English. Participants will also attend French language courses at the university’s Department of French as a Second Language (DEFLE), open to all levels, including complete beginners.
Alongside academic classes, the programme features a selection of cultural and social activities: museum visits (such as Musée d’Aquitaine, Cité du Vin and Bassin des Lumières), a wine-tasting workshop, a sport session, and a full-day trip to the UNESCO-listed village of Saint-Émilion. Students will receive a certificate of participation and 3 ECTS credits upon completion.
