The international summer school Between Giants, organized by the University of Warsaw, will take place from September 8–13, 2025, in Poland (Warsaw, Białystok). It is open to MA and PhD students in the humanities and social sciences.  Participants will explore historical, cultural, and political topics related to Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Participation is free of charge; travel, accommodation, and meals are covered by the organizers. Applications, including an abstract and CV, must be submitted by March 1, 2025, link is here.

The International Centre at the University of Bergen is recruiting two interns for a period of 6 to 12 months, starting in early May or August 2025. Priority will be given to students from universities in the CHARM-EU alliance, which does not include Charles University. However, knowledge of Norwegian or other Scandinavian languages is an advantage! If you speak one of these languages, we encourage you to apply!
