Interrail is currently offering a 20% discount on the Interrail Pass - a very convenient ticket for train travel for Europe.
What does the discount cover?
On all Interrail Passes intended for Erasmus+ students valid from 1 September 2025. Specifically, it is 4 or 6 travel days within 6 months.
Who is the discount for?
For students under 28 years of age.
Until when is the discount available?
The offer is only valid until 3 July 2025.
Why consider it?
Travelling by train is more environmentally friendly than air travel - your carbon footprint will be significantly lower. Plus, you can explore more European cities during your trip and make your Erasmus+ trip an experience in itself.

EAIE Grants of up to €4500 for Doctoral Research on Internationalisation in Higher Education
The EAIE Doctoral Research Grants support early-career scholars conducting doctoral research on internationalisation in higher education. In 2025, up to five grants of up to €4500 each will be awarded to help cover research-related expenses such as travel, data collection tools and access to academic resources. The grant is open to doctoral candidates from around the world whose work is relevant to the European context and the EAIE community. In addition to funding, the programme offers visibility, engagement opportunities and a platform to contribute to the broader field of international higher education.
Application Deadline: 1 August, 2025
Grant may cover expenses such as:
- travel for data collection or conferences, data collection and analysis tools, such as surveys and data analysis software, and access to books, journals or other paid academic literature.
Who Can Apply:
- Applicants must be officially recognised as current doctoral students or candidates by their degree-awarding institution and must be researching internationalisation in higher education.
Requirements for grant recipients:
- Submit a mid-term report (max. 2000 words) by 31 March 2026
(includes research progress and anticipated spending) - Submit a final report (max. 2000 words) by 30 September 2026
(includes research outcomes and full use of funds) - Present their research at the 2026 EAIE Annual Conference in Glasgow (session or poster)
- Produce one additional output for the EAIE community (e.g. blog post or Research Snapshot)
- Acknowledge EAIE support in all related publications and presentations

Summer School: “Current developments on financial crime, corruption and money laundering: European and international perspectives”
The 6-day hybrid (in-person or online) intensive courses will focus on ongoing developments of key issues in combating international fraud, corruption and money laundering, international and European anti-fraud mechanisms and procedures, etc. The subjects that are taught in the summer school, are of remarkable interest, as they specialise in top issues in the field of financial crime, corruption and money laundering. At the same time, these are topics that have undergone significant developments in recent years. These developments have resulted from the adoption of acts at European Union level (new EU Financial Interest Fraud Directive, new European Public Prosecutor’s Office Regulation, 5th and 6th Anti-Money Laundering Directive), but also from the emergence of new ways and means of committing crimes in the fields of financial crime, corruption and money laundering (bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, offshore companies etc.).

Tuition-Free Online Qualification Programme “Artificial Intelligence and Society” at the University of Graz
The University of Graz has launched an innovative complementary qualification programme "Artificial Intelligence and Society" as a 16 ECTS micro-credential (also called micro-degree), demonstrating our commitment to future-oriented education that bridges disciplinary boundaries.
This interdisciplinary qualification responds to the transformative potential of AI technologies, equipping students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills.
Students learn to understand, critically evaluate, and responsibly implement AI systems across various domains, gaining essential key competencies for their future professional lives.

Dublin, Ireland:
- Salary: €800 per month
- Accommodation: 2 free weeks in a host family (self-catering); after the first two weeks, in case you’d like to continue staying with our host family, self-catering homestay accommodation can be offered at a discounted rate of €150 per week (regular cost: €260).
- Benefits: You are more than welcome to take part in our part-time evening language classes for free throughout your stay and you can also sit for a Cambridge B2 First or C1 Advanced exam at Atlas for free, if there are dates available and as long as it doesn't interfere with your working hours. You also receive a 50% discount on our paid social programme activities. 10 days of holiday for a 6 month internship.
- Full time internship (35-36 working hours per week), usually Monday to Friday from 8.30/9 am to 4:30/5 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break included.
Pembroke, Malta:
- Salary: €500 per month
- Accommodation: Free accommodation in one of our student apartments, shared twin rooms within walking distance of the school.
- Benefits: €300 travel stipend for flights and Atlas t-shirts/hoodies as uniforms. 10 days of holiday for a 6 month internship.
- Full time internship of 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Sunday (the intern will work 40 hours over 5 days and will get 2 days off during the week). The intern is expected to work on weekends. The schedule changes every week, and the manager informs the interns of their upcoming schedule every Thursday. The school opens Monday to Friday during the day, and social programme activities usually take place during the afternoons, evenings and during the weekends. Social programme activities are included in your working hours. Check-ins and check-outs at the residence occur on weekends.
