Internship Opportunities in Portugal
Placement in Portugal (PiP for short) specialises in facilitating international traineeships for recent graduates and young professionals. Through its international traineeship programme, the organisation helps candidates find internship placements in Portugal that align with their qualifications, academic background, and personal preferences.
With an extensive network of contacts, the organisation maintains a broad database of internship opportunities across various sectors, both in Portuguese and international companies.
In addition to placement services, the organisation offers comprehensive support to selected interns before and during their internship period. This includes assistance with administrative procedures (such as signing Traineeship Agreements) as well as practical relocation support (e.g. help with finding accommodation, Portuguese language courses, etc.).
The majority of Erasmus traineeship placements offered are unpaid, with only a limited number providing financial compensation. Therefore, interns are generally expected to secure their own funding—typically through an Erasmus+ traineeship grant or another external financial source.
